A globetrotting couple has taken to social media to showcase stunning snapshots from their top ten global hotspots. Hannah Bird, 26, and her spouse Charlie Camper, 25, have been on an epic journey, traversing over 50 countries in the last six years. Despite health challenges – Charlie with an implanted defibrillator due to a cardiac arrest at 15, and Hannah battling stage four blood cancer since 2022 – the duo remains undeterred in ticking off destinations from their extensive bucket list.

The adventurous pair have cultivated an impressive 150k-strong following through their travel blog, where they dispense valuable travel advice and highlight important health symptoms. Residing in Somerset, the travel influencers have divulged their most cherished locales, ranging from Jordan to Peru, Thailand, Japan, Kenya, the Maldives, Milos in Greece, and Dubai, complete with vivid imagery from each escapade.

Topping their chart is Jordan, with Hannah remarking: “Jordan was one of the most unexpectedly incredible places we’ve been. The people were so warm and welcoming, and we always felt completely safe.

“Our highlights included floating in the Dead Sea, hiking through Petra, and exploring Wadi Rum. The food was also amazing, fresh, flavourful, and comforting.” They hailed Thailand as their second pick, labelling it “the ultimate travel all-rounder”. Charlie exclaimed: “We loved the beaches, the temples, the culture, but honestly, we probably loved the food even more.

“From Pad Thai on the street to daily mango sticky rice, we ate non-stop. And yes, Seven-Eleven toasties became a daily ritual, very touristy of us, but so good.” The duo also expressed their fondness for Iceland, with Hannah remarking that it was “was like stepping into a postcard”.

She elaborated: “From black sand beaches to geysers and glaciers, the natural beauty was mind-blowing. It’s one of those places where every drive feels like a scenic tour. We even caught the Northern Lights which was a massive bucket list moment for us.” They then highlighted Kenya as an exceptionally memorable destination.

Charlie shared: “We did a safari and saw elephants, lions, and giraffes in the wild, but what stood out most was the people. Everyone we met was so kind, and the sense of community really left a mark on us. It was humbling and unforgettable.” Peru was another highlight for the adventurous couple.

Hannah described: “We hiked to Machu Picchu, explored the Sacred Valley, and saw the rainbow-striped mountains in real life. The scenery is so dramatic, and there’s a real magic to the culture, colours, and history.” Lastly, they touched upon Japan, a hot travel spot they found utterly unique.

Charlie enthused: “Everything runs smoothly, the cities are electric, and the countryside is peaceful. We loved the contrast of old and new, and the food was on another level. We’re still dreaming of ramen, sushi, and mochi!” Dubai also left an indelible mark on Hannah and Charlie, with its reputation for opulent shopping and extravagant lifestyle.

Hannah exclaimed: “Dubai blew us away. There’s luxury, adventure, amazing restaurants, and so much to do. From desert safaris to sky-high views and waterparks, we loved the variety. It also feels super clean and safe, and the service culture is brilliant.” They rounded off their travel tips with three top destinations: Italy, the Maldives, and Milos in Greece.

Hannah continued: “We always say Italy is perfect because you can get everything in one trip, cities like Rome and Florence, the beaches of the Amalfi Coast, and the rolling vineyards in Tuscany. Plus, Italian food is in a league of its own. Then the Maldives is pure paradise. It’s harder to reach, but absolutely worth it. Crystal-clear water, overwater bungalows, and the kind of sunsets that make you stop and stare. It was one of the most relaxing trips we’ve ever had.”

Charlie chimed in: ” We originally went to Santorini, but it was so busy and expensive that we decided to hop over to Milos, and we’re so glad we did. It was quieter, friendlier, cheaper, and every beach felt like a hidden gem. It’s a place we recommend to everyone now.”

Their top ten travel destinations include: Jordan, Thailand, Iceland, Kenya, Peru, Japan, Dubai UAE, Italy, the Maldives and Milos in Greece. You can track their exciting journeys here: https://www.instagram.com/thattravelcouple/?hl=en.
