A RUB-on rival to Viagra that starts working in just five minutes is being developed in Britain.
The Viagra pill can take 30 minutes or more to get into the bloodstream and cannot be used with some drugs.

But Futura Medical is trialling a cream called Eroxon which only targets the area it is massaged into.
In tests on 230 men with erectile dysfunction, 70 per cent had an erection in ten minutes.
It lasted half an hour, rather than four hours for Viagra.

Ken James, head of research at Futura Medical, said: “Statistics tell us 22 per cent of men don’t actually have sexual intercourse after taking Viagra for one reason or another.
“With our product, there’s spontaneity and the research we’ve done tells us that restores a lot of intimacy for couples.”
Guildford-based Futura hopes to sell a single-use dose for a fiver by 2021.
