The Front Bar, which is hosted by Andrew Maher, Mick Molloy and Sam Pang, has enjoyed stellar ratings since its 2015 inception.

Meanwhile, MasterChef Australia topped the entertainment shows at 680,000 while Bachelor in Paradise concluded with 454,000 and 417,000 for its Tell-All reunion.

The latest figures for The Footy Show, which is hosted by Neroli Meadows, Anthony Lehmann, Brendan Fevola, Dylan Alcott and Shane Crawford, are part of a discouraging trend for the show.

The program is pulling in less than half of its viewers since new-look program debuted at the end of March, when 193,000 people tuned in.

The statistics will be sure to disappoint Channel Nine executives, as The Footy Show has failed to capture a stable audience.

The ever-switching panel have exhausted audiences, with many calling for the show to be put out of its misery.

Last week, The Footy Show came fifth in its timeslot after moving to an earlier 7.30pm, where it was beaten by an SBS documentary on Jack the Ripper.

In March, football journalist Mike Sheahan said Channel 9 made two major mistakes when revamped The Footy Show this year.

‘Two things Channel 9 have done wrong, they kept the name of the Footy Show, it’s not the Footy Show as we knew it,’ he said on SEN Breakfast.

‘And they put it head-to-head with the best new TV show in years, the Front Bar.
