Sky deal drops the price of your TV and broadband bill but there is something even cheaper

Sky is back with another deal but this latest offer doesn’t just include TV as the firm has also reduced the price of its broadband.

The new offer has just gone live and includes over 300 channel, a Sky Q box and totally unlimited broadband for just £35 per month.

That price is a saving of £9.50 off the usual monthly cost with the total reduction over the 18-month contract working out at £171.

It’s worth nothing this offer only includes a standard set-top box which lets users store 500 hours of TV and can record three shows at once.

If you want an improved experience then you can opt for the Sky Q 2TB device which allows 100 hours of content to stored, can record 5 shows at the same time and brings 4K quality to your living room.

Sky Q 2TB costs £199 for installation rather than the £20 you’ll pay for the standard setup.

This flash sale, which ends on Thursday 13, also includes the newly launched Broadband Boost and the Sky Buddy app.

These services offer an improved internet connection and also allow parents to monitor and control their children’s time online.

This latest deal comes as Sky recently announced a new bundle aimed at people who want TV and broadband on a budget.

The new Essentials bundle features unlimited broadband, free UK calls and an older Sky+ box.

Sky customers that fancy this offer simply need to pay a £25 upfront fee and be prepared to sign up to an 18-month contract.

They’ll then pay £26 per month with the satellite firm saying its Sky Essentials bundle reflects its commitment to offering great value, with a simple, straightforward package.

This bundle is almost £10 per month cheaper than the deal above but before you sign up it’s worth taking note of a few things.

Firstly, the broadband Sky is offering with its Essentials bundle only brings average speeds of 11Mbps into your home which should be ok for low-use households but might not keep pace if you want to stream 4K content or download the latest console titles.

Then there’s the set-top box as this deal only includes Sky’s older + device and not the latest Q model.

Sky is also stating that no extra channels will be included in the Essentials bundle so you won’t get access to content from Entertainment, Sports of Cinema.
