Royal fans were in agreement and made a prediction about Prince George after spotting him at the Trooping the Colour event earlier today (June 14).
Appearing on the balcony alongside King Charles III, Queen Camilla, and the Prince of Wales, Prince George has clearly surprised some viewers with one thing.
Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Louis, and Princess Charlotte were all seen on the balcony alongside Prince George, 11, at today’s event celebrating King Charles III’s 76th birthday. Although the King doesn’t officially turn 77 until November 14, the Trooping the Colour event, the monarch’s official birthday parade, is a longstanding tradition.
Viewers were all left saying the same thing about the eldest child of Prince William and Princess Kate, with royal fans gobsmacked at how tall he looked. And some are even making a huge prediction for the royal after spotting him next to his family on the balcony at Buckingham Palace during the Red Arrow flypast.
One person posting on X wrote: “How tall is George! They’ll all be as tall as their parents soon! Lovely family.”
Another added: “Hello Wales family. The children are getting so tall. I think Prince George will surpass Prince William.” A third user has since noted the staggering height of Prince George, saying they are a “head taller” than their younger brother.
The user observed: “Once on the balcony, did anyone else notice that Princess of Wales is only about a head taller than Prince George? Plus she’s wearing heels. He has gotten so tall! Next year, he’ll match her height.”
Others suggested the height of Prince George suggested time was flying. One user wrote: “Prince George is so tall, time flies.” Another added: “I think George is Catherine’s height without heels. WHAT?!”
It comes as other users noted a touching tribute from the Princess of Wales to Queen Elizabeth II. It appeared the earrings worn by Princess Kate previously belonged to the late Queen.
A fan wrote: “The Princess of Wales is wearing a dress coat by Catherine Walker, hat by Juliette Botterill, Irish Guards Regimental Brooch and earrings belonging to the late Queen Elizabeth.”
Behind the scenes photographs have since been shared by Kensington Palace of the Wales family preparing for the Trooping the Colour event. The official account for the Prince and Princess of Wales showed the children and Princess Kate take off in the horse-drawn cart.
One fan wrote: “I absolutely love this video. It’s just perfect. You all look stunning.”
