The second day of Royal Ascot is upon us and thousands of fans will once again descend on Berkshire to drink it in. It promises to be a warm one, while the jockeys and runners will bring plenty of their own heat to a gripping afternoon line-up.
The Queen Mary Stakes gets us underway at 2.30pm (BST) today, and that will be followed by the Queen’s Vase and the Duke of Cambridge Stakes. At 4.30pm comes the highlight of the day – a Group One showdown in the Prince of Wales’s Stakes, with Los Angeles and Anmaat amongst the favourites.
