Prince William has shared a heartfelt new message following the death of Liverpool forward Diogo Jota. The Prince, who is Patron of the Football Assocation, took to social media to share his condolences.
He wrote: “As part of the footballing family, I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Diogo Jota and his brother. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and all who knew him. W.”
Diogo tragically passed away in Zamora, Spain. The Portuguese forward was reportedly involved in a road traffic accident with his brother Andre. The incident occurred when his vehicle came off the road in a Spanish province, causing a fire which claimed both of their lives.
