Prince William has been warned against “bull****” has he launches a campaigned aimed at tackling homelessness.

The Prince of Wales has appeared in a new documentary about his latest project, Homewards. The 42-year-old says everyone having a “safe and stable home” benefits everybody, reports CambridgeshireLive.

The Homewards project aims to eradicate homelessness within the next five years. And Lord John Bird, founder of the Big Issue, says he now wants to see all the “failed thinking” towards homelessness being put “behind us” and called for no “bull****”.

Speaking to Big Issue, Lord Bird said: “We need the expertise of everybody. We’ve had local authorities working here.”

“We’ve had charities working there. We’ve had governments working there. We need now to put all of the failed thinking that has gone into homelessness over the last 30 years behind us, and we’ve all got to come together.”

“So when William says he wants to converge it, that’s what I want, and I don’t really want to have any bull****.”

Acknowledging Lord John’s straightforwardness, Prince William conceded that his advisor, whose publication aids individuals facing or vulnerable to homelessness, was “right” in his assessment. William expressed, “John will happily tell me if it’s not going well.”

“He is very direct and quite right. I mean, he’s seen many attempts come and go. So it’s important people like John buy into what we’re doing.”

The Prince of Wales’s innovative Homewards initiative, launched with intent to combat the homelessness crisis, is set to establish bases in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, Sheffield, Lambeth, Aberdeen, Newport and also in Northern Ireland. The Royal Foundation is pitching in a hefty £500,000 for each location to furnish vital “space, tools and expertise” in the relentless battle against homelessness.

Expressing his conviction in the two-part documentary ‘Prince William: We Can End Homelessness’, he asserts: “I don’t believe we should be living with homelessness in the 21st century.”

Acknowledging the influence of public scrutiny over his life of privilege and multiple homes, William reveals how criticism has powered his commitment to this cause.

The prince reflects on poignant moments visiting a homeless shelter with his mother, Princess Diana, along with Prince Harry, leaving a lasting impact on his perception of this stinging societal issue.

Tune in to ITV One at 9pm tonight for the first instalment of this eye-opening documentary, concluding tomorrow, October 31, also at 9pm.
