Prince William allegedly “ignored” his brother Prince Harry during the late Queen Elizabeth’s last moments in 2022, a royal book has claimed.

The late monarch passed away on September 8, at 3.10pm, but before she did, doctors were aware her health was deteriorating, and all members of the Royal Family were quickly asked to gather at Balmoral Castle.

But according to Omid Scobie’s Endgame, the Duke of Sussex had no idea that Buckingham Palace was preparing for Elizabeth’s passing and only found out about her after his father, King Charles, rang him to ask him to head to Balmoral.

The book, which was released last year and contained several bombshell claims about the royals, said that Harry immediately tried to contact his brother, the Prince of Wales, to ask if they could travel together to Scotland but was “ignored”.

Mr Scobie wrote: “The Sussexes had no idea that Buckingham Palace was already planning for the Queen’s final hours and the first days of the monarchy’s new era – until the Duke’s phone started ringing. An unknown number. He usually ignored those […]”

“With no further information from other family members or Palace aides, the Sussexes and their team had to operate in the dark.

“Harry was informed that William had already secured a flight with his uncles Andrew and Edward (and Edward’s wife, Sophie), but he couldn’t get in touch with anyone about joining that flight.”

The author claimed that Harry sent several texts to William that went unanswered.

A source allegedly claimed: “It was upsetting to witness. [Harry] was completely by himself on this.

“William ignored him. He clearly didn’t want to see his brother.”

The duke eventually managed to fly to Balmoral on a private plane from Luton airport which reportedly cost £30,000 ($37,000).
