Primary schoolboy rushed to hospital after being hit by falling tree during storms

A SCHOOLBOY has been struck by a falling tree at his primary school amid Storm Ali.

The Year 2 pupil was seriously injured yesterday at Trinity Primary School in Edinburgh.

According to STV News the boy suffered “multiple” injuries.

However thankfully it is not thought that the injuries are life threatening.

There is a police cordon at the scene where the boy was struck an investigation is carried out.

Storm Ali is battering Scotland this week, with experts recording gusts of 90mph.
