But others have struggled with it.

“He wants to know I had fun but he doesn’t want to hear everything about my sex with others. He likes to speak to my potential lovers to make sure he trusts them.
“If there’s something we don’t want to do with each other, we get it from someone else. We’re both quite into rough sex but there are times I want it rougher and Marc doesn’t want to do that to me.
“So I call my other partner and have fun with him. Marc is into BDSM and I’m not, so when he wants this type of sex, he goes to another woman.”

Marc says: “When I first met Nikki, I knew I wanted her to be my girlfriend. I love being with her and doing ‘couple’ things but when she suggested she needed something to break up the monotony of being monogamous, I agreed.
