Nick Kyrgios has reportedly been axed from the BBC’s presenting line-up for Wimbledon. The outspoken Aussie was a pundit at SW19 last year, having been ruled out of the tournament due to long-term fitness issues. He was hoping to be involved at Wimbledon this year but it was confirmed last week that his injury curse had struck again.
Kyrgios, who reached the Wimbledon final three years ago, began his 2025 campaign at the Brisbane International. He also played at the Australian Open, where he was beaten by Jacob Fearnley in the opening round, and the Miami Open. The man from Canberra has not played a competitive match since then, fuelling rumours that he could return to a broadcasting role.
However, that will not be the case at Wimbledon with the BBC axing Kyrgios from their punditry line-up, according to The Telegraph. He has also been overlooked by ESPN despite working for the broadcaster at the Australian Open for the last two years.
