Neighbours spoilers: Finn Kelly makes unexpected move as Toadie Rebecchi feud ESCALATES
Finn (played by Rob Mills) became a free man on Neighbours earlier this week as the court acquitted him of his past crimes following glowing testimonies by the likes of Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne).
Developments in the story will soon see Finn move in with Susan and her husband Karl Kennedy (Alan Fletcher) as the character gets a regular status on the Channel 5 soap, with actor Rob Mills, 36, reprising is role as the former villain last year.
Susan and Karl’s decision not only puts strain on the couple’s marriage, but they will also feel the wrath of their neighbours, none more so than Toadie Rebecchi (Ryan Maloney).
However, when Finn tries to help Toadie next week to show him he has changed his ways, the former felon decides to take unlawful action.
Having recently returned to Ramsay Street following the sudden death of his wife Sonya Rebecchi (Eve Morey), Toadie isn’t in the best mood to be dealing with the likes of Finn.
When the widower decides he wants to help the community in respect of his late wife, Toadie launches the Sonya Rebecchi Foundation.
To get the idea up off the ground, Toadie begins promoting the scheme and organises a launch party, which Finn believes could be the perfect opportunity to make peace with the grieving Erinsborough resident.
Not wanting Finn anywhere near his plans, Toadie strongly rejects the former villain’s offer to help him, which only gives the reformed felon another idea.
Knowing Toadie’s office will be empty, Finn breaks into the premises, but not for revenge, as he explains to Bea Nilsson (Bonnie Anderson).
Seeing her abductor in such a state, reminding her of what he was like in the past before his amnesia, Bea presses Finn for answers as to why he’s taken unlawful action against Toadie.
Having changed her testimony in court after witnessing Finn save the life of her aunt Susan, Bea is initially hurt to realise the Ramsay Street resident could be up to his old tricks.
However, Finn explains he broke into Toadie’s office to leave a rather generous donation for the foundation, knowing full well the Neighbours icon wouldn’t take it from him.
Still questioning whether Finn was telling the truth, Bea is proved wrong when Toadie is later seen filled with joy after coming across the anonymous donation.
Speaking with Finn later after bumping into Toadie, Bea agrees to keep his secret.
Will Toadie ever discover the truth and after months of speculation over whether Finn has changed, does this prove the villainous streak inside him has gone?
Alan Fletcher, 62, recently told Express.co.uk of Karl’s relationship with Susan over the Finn drama: “It causes enormous tension between Susan and Karl because Susan’s looking to support Finn and doesn’t want Karl to do anything to undermine Finn.”
Elsewhere in Ramsay Street, Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou) will have a lot on her plate soon as her niece, Roxy Willis (Zima Anderson), arrives in Erinsborough.
Roxy will make quite the entrance to the Australian soap as her wild-child antics will keep Terese on her toes.
Following Roxy in the coming weeks will be her boyfriend Vance Abernathy (Conrad Coleby), but it seems the older gentleman has a history with his girlfriend’s aunt.
Terese will tell her daughter Imogen Willis (Ariel Kaplan) she once dated a man who encouraged her own wild behaviour back in the day.
Little does she know, Roxy is now dating the said man, so how will Terese react when she comes face-to-face with Vance?
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
