Another fan said of the giftwrap: “We get deliveries from several Napa and Paso wineries and the As Ever packaging is by far the best.”
Someone else wrote: “Aww I love the packaging.”
However, not everyone seems to share this same opinion, with some people online criticising how the wine was packaged.
One person wrote: “What a massive waste of tissue paper on the As ever wine bottles. It’s all just going into the trash.
“The bottles look like bowling pins, ghosts, …or something worse. Terrible branding and packaging as usual.”
Another said: “Ghostly bowling pins! All they need is a couple of eyes and a spooky mouth on there & she’s got a Halloween winner.”
Customers who brought Meghan’s wine on the launch had to either purchase three bottles for £66 [$90], six bottles for £117 [$159], or 12 bottles for £222 [$300].
It is not known when the wine will be restocked, or what As Ever products the duchess will launch next.
