Meghan Markle has shared another one of her creations with her fans, just one day after she launched her second wine, while also addressing a major brand issue. The Duchess of Sussex released her As Ever Napa Valley Rosé 2024 – described as evoking the same “soft notes of stone fruit, gentle minerality, and a lasting finish” as the 2023 rose – on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, her brand uploaded a new picture on Instagram showing her latest creation, featuring ice lollies made with the new wine and raspberries. It was captioned: “What’s better than a glass of rosé on a sunny day? Rosé popsicles perchance? Yes, please, and thank you. Shop our newest Napa Valley summer favourite while supplies last.”
It came just over a month after the previous rosé was launched and sold out in less than hour.
Meghan’s launches for As Ever had raised eyebrows after all releases sold out within minutes, prompting fans and royal watchers to question the amount of stock available.
But the Duchess managed to address the issue with the latest launch, as nearly one day later, her wine was still in stock.
As Ever said on an Instagram story: “We made so much more this round, and yet it’s still going fast!”
As with the previous wine, the beverage is priced at more than £67 for a minimum three-bottle order – and only appeared to be available for US customers to buy, with shipping addresses limited to America.
Three bottles cost 90 US dollars (around £67), six bottles cost 159 dollars (around £119) including a 12% discount, and 12 bottles are priced at 300 dollars (around £225) including a 17% discount.
The website describes the drink as “thoughtfully curated by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex” and that it has been “made to be enjoyed with the ones you love”.
The pale pink wine, which comes in a clear bottle with a white, gold-rimmed label, has an ABV (alcohol by volume) of 13.5% – one percent lower than its predecessor.
