Meghan Markle has been keeping a low profile ahead of massive new opportunities in 2025, it has been claimed.
The Duchess of Sussex is reported to be aiming to launch a new Netflix show in the new year, according to a Hollywood insider.
The insider claimed that Meghan – who was last seen in public in November attending a holiday dinner for Afghan women – was “keeping her cards close to her chest” about the project.
The new Netflix project will reportedly focus on “cooking, gardening and entertaining”.
In March, the Duchess launched her life-style brand, American Riviera Orchard, with the new show running alongside that project, reports suggest.
However the brand has been hit with setbacks, including issues securing the trademark – with the United States Trademark and Patent Office rejecting a request for the brand in September.
Speaking to Page Six, the insider claimed both American Riviera Orchard and the new Netflix project would come out in 2025.
They also moved to deny claims that Meghan was struggling to find a CEO for the brand.
They added: “But I can tell you that she is the CEO of American Riviera Orchard, so all these rumours about her having a hard time finding a CEO are false.
“As far as Meghan being quiet, she’s been in the background working on her entrepreneurial efforts.”
They said: “It’s going to be a good year for Meghan specifically, she’s spent the majority of the year doing work behind the scenes to launch a project in the first few months of 2025.”
