MANCHESTER UNITED icon Paul Ince was caught making an X-rated gesture at Chris Sutton live on television.

BT Sport’s Early Kick-Off show cut to the studio where former midfielder Ince, 51, was sat with Sutton, Peter Crouch and host Robbie Savage.

Ince, clearly unaware that the cameras were running, pointed at ex-Celtic striker Sutton, 46, and produced what is widely known as ‘the w****r’ sign.

The pair were at each non-stop on the show and Ince appeared to let his temper get the better of him with the offensive hand signal.

Savage and former Liverpool striker Crouch, who retired from football this summer, are seen laughing nearby.

According to reports, BT Sport apologised after returning from the break.

SunSport has requested a comment from BT Sport and will update should one be provided.

Ince was on the show ahead of Arsenal’s lunchtime kick-off against Burnley in the Premier League today.

His latest comments have been to accuse former club United of “copying” Liverpool’s transfer model by signing Harry Maguire this summer.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has, Ince suggested, mimicked Jurgen Klopp by playing three “pacey” forwards.

And then United forked out a world-record fee of £85million to sign Maguire from Leicester earlier this month.

He told Paddy Power: “I look at United and I feel they’re almost copying a Liverpool model.

“They got Virgil van Dijk in and United got Harry Maguire in, and it seems they’ve gone for three forward too.

“Pacey players like [Anthony] Martial, [Jesse] Lingard and [Marcus] Rashford.”
