A SUSPECTED shooter sparked a major manhunt after gunning down four people, including two children, outside a Colorado dentist office.
The victims were shot in the car park behind Comfort Dental, in Westminster, before the suspect made off in a black Toyota, cops said.
Police said two adults and two children were rushed to hospital shortly after 3pm local time but their conditions remain unknown.
Around three hours later at 6pm a suspect was apprehended, according to the Westminster Police Department’s Twitter account.
Officers had urged the public to inform them if they had seen a 2010 black Toyota Corolla with a Colorado license plate and released a similar image.
But people were warned not to engage with anyone seen inside the vehicle as they could be “armed and dangerous”.
Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots and seeing the victims saturated in blood.
Steve Hamilton was in a nearby bar when he found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.
He told the Denver Post: “He was very coherent. He was very calm.”
The car park is situated in an area surrounded by bars, retail stores and traffic.
