On Monday, Eden discussed Erin’s private struggles in an interview while announcing he is expecting his first child with new girlfriend, Cyrell Paule.

Taking to Instagram hours later, the 24-year-old began: ‘If a man or woman say they can’t have children, don’t ask why, or worse, ask what’s wrong.’

‘If a man or woman say they can’t have children, don’t ask why, or worse, ask what’s wrong,’ began Erin in the emotional post to her followers

Erin revealed that she had received many messages about her fertility struggles and people questioning it can ‘make her feel bad’.

‘Not everyone’s life goal is to have a baby, and if someone is infertile, people questioning it doesn’t really help,’ she said.

The blonde added there is a ‘long and complicated list’ of medical issues and she has been through ‘countless surgeries’ to bare a child, but all have failed.

'There will probably always be a small part of me that feels a little sad that it's (birth) an experience I'll never get to have,' Erin continued

The popular reality television personality then referenced her current relationship with Michael Russell, 43, who she moved in with in June.

‘I still consider myself very lucky. I met Michael a single dad, so I’m stepmother to three wonderful children,’ she said.

The Love Island Australia star added that she feels more like a ‘super cool aunty’ since the children still have a ‘great mother’ – which she is fine with.

Erin then took a subtle swipe at her ex-boyfriend Eden, who she met on Love Island Australia in June 2018, by praising her current partner Mick.

‘It’s the greatest felling in the world to have such a respectful, trustworthy, caring and supportive partner,’ she wrote.

Erin’s post came hours after Eden spoke about her personal struggles with fertility in a glossy New Idea magazine feature.

As Eden and Cyrell announced they were having a baby, the couple raised eyebrows by mentioning the fact their respective ex-partners have fertility issues.

‘The ironic thing is, which is unfortunate, they both struggle having children,’ Eden said, when asked how Erin would feel about Cyrell being pregnant.

Eden then remarked that Erin ‘had something wrong with her ovaries’, which means it’s unlikely she will ever have children.

‘I’ve moved on big time and Cyrell has moved on, and I hope they’ve moved on… my break-up was a pretty bad one. I had a lot of lies made up about me,’ Eden added.

In June last year, Erin told NW magazine that she ‘can’t give birth naturally’ due to the fact she has ‘a small pelvic area’.

She also suffers from endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome, which can affect a woman’s fertility.

Discussing her ex-boyfriend Nic Jovanovic in the feature, Cyrell said: ‘Nick had testicular cancer and he’s got to do IVF.’
