And Amy Schumer has thrown her support behind breakout star Maura Higgins in a special pre-recorded message.
In the clip set to air on Sunday’s Aftersun, the Hollywood star, 38, paid tribute to her ‘homie’ Maura after the grid girl left fans horrified by admitting her feelings for dancer Curtis Pritchard.

In a preview of the full message Amy said: ‘I’m loving this season of Love Island. I want to give a shout out to Maura. She’s just like my homie, I feel very connected to her.’
Last year Amy became only the latest A-list star to reveal she was a fan of Love Island, after she took to Twitter to brand Dr Alex George ‘vile’ for his treatment of then-partner Alexander Cane.
And in October, Love Island 2018 star Megan Barton Hanson received support from Amy via. Instagram, after the buxom beauty spoke candidly about her battles with anxiety and depression.

Maura has proven to be one of the breakout stars of this year’s Love Island, thanks to her no-nonsense approach to romance and brazen expressions of sex.
It comes as the Irish star left fans horrified after revealing she started to have feelings for dancer Curtis.
The beauty told her pal Lucie that she loves a certain man’s smile and added that she hopes he is able to teach her to dance, before an image of Curtis flashed on screen.

However the voice over for the show left the question hanging, and suggested that it could be another professional dancer that she fancies.
In a hilarious twist, Curtis actually revealed he had approached Maura before entering the villa by ‘sliding into her DMs’.
The suggestion came just hours after Curtis had cruelly dumped Amy despite her confession that she had fallen in love with the dancer.
