LOOSE Women’s Andrea McLean broke down in tears as she revealed a secret trauma has left her with a fear of “being shouted at”.
The 49-year-old was left shaken during tonight’s Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins when she was hauled into the interrogation room where she was slammed as “fragile” by former solider Ant Middleton.

Looking a million miles away from her glamorous presenting role, Andrea appeared timid and frightened after signing up to the Channel 4 charity special.
“I’m very scared,” Andrea admitted.
“I’m not very good at getting shouted at just because of things that have happened before.
“I’ve put it away very nicely in a box. I’m very happy now and I was fine and then as soon as… [I got shouted at] it was like a tsunami of just ‘don’t mess up’.

“I feel like I’m falling at the first hurdle.”
The presenter did not go into detail about the personal trauma that had caused her to break down on the show.
Giving his take on how Andrea is coping, Ant said: “That’s f***ing baggage you’re carrying around, not a f***ing box. You have to f***ing deal with it.
“We’re not shouting at you to be a***holes, we’re shouting at you because we’re passionate about you learning.
“I see this as a positive, not a negative. I’m very happy you’ve opened up like this.
“Let some of those demons out of that f***ing box.”

The mum-of-two recently married her partner Nick Feeney after four years of dating.
Before announcing their engagement, Andrea admitted she never thought she would find love again after two failed marriages.
She even vowed never to walk down the aisle again, but went ahead with a wedding in November 2017 where her Loose Women pals watched her walk down the aisle.
For the next five weeks her SAS journey will air on Channel 4. She stars alongside Sam Thompson, Jeremy Irvine and Jeff Brazier.

Tonight Andrea explained she can be the strongest person in the room on a good day, and the weakest on a bad day.
She said: “I’ve had some really dark, difficult times in my life.
“I don’t want to feel like that again.
“For me, my momentum is to go forwards. You get up and you just keep going.”
