A TEEN boy has been stabbed on way to school as knife crime continues to grip London.

The victim, in his mid-teens, was rushed to hospital from Lewisham High Street just after 8.30am.

Police are now investigating, with no arrests yet made.

A Lewisham Police spokesperson said: “The victim, a boy in his mid-teens, has been taken to hospital. Next of kin informed. We await details of his condition.

“No arrest as yet. Witnesses pls call 101 ref 1431/jan14”
