And as it will be his third defence in just his 16th pro fight, it means the Newcastle boxer will be able to keep the Lonsdale belt should be see off Hyland Jnr.
And it is set to make a nice addition above his old man’s fireplace.
Speaking exclusively to SunSport, Ritson said: “It will be good to win the belt outright. I think I will be the fastest or second fastest person to do that.
“But the belt isn’t for me, it’s for the old man so when I win, it will be going on his mantelpiece.
