Latest Samsung Galaxy S25 is cheaper in one place this Black Friday

The latest member of Samsung Galaxy S25 family of phones has only been on sale since September but that doesn’t mean it has been left out of the ongoing Black Friday November sales.

The 128GB Galaxy S25 FE is currently just £449 at Very, a big £200 saving on the phone’s £649 RRP. That gets you a very capable Android handset that will get software updates for seven years until 2032, setting you up well into the future.

This £449 price is also £50 less than you’ll find the phone on sale for from Amazon, Argos and Currys. Bravo, Very.

The ‘FE’ series of phones from Samsung takes its flagship line up and strips back a few specs and features to bring a familiar, premium design down to a more affordable price. The S25 FE is based on the S25, which costs £799 and launched back in January. For the sale price of £449, you’re getting a phone with practically the same design as its pricier sibling.

Samsung has stripped down the camera set up so while you get a 50MP main lens, the zoom and telephoto won’t be as good as on the regular S25, but this is the sort of compromise you have to make when you’re shopping for a phone on a tighter budget. The 50MP camera will be great for most situations, all viewable through the large 6.7-inch AMOLED screen in a phone that only weighs 190g and is 7.4mm thick.

It gets Gorilla Glass for scratch and smash resistance (though you still probably want a case) plus full IP68 water and dust resistance so you should be safe if the phone takes an accidental dunk.

A large 4,900mAh battery should keep things going all day and then some, with 45W wired charging speeds and 15W wireless compatibility too. Just note there’s no charger in the box, only a USB-C cable.

Everything is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 2400 chipset inside, one of the swaps made from the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor found in the S25, S25 Plus and S25 Ultra. But for most tasks and for most people doing normal phone things, it’ll be more than enough oomph. High-end Snapdragon chips come into their own if you are playing graphically intense games or editing 4K video on your phone – if that’s not you, the S25 FE is plenty powerful enough.

The phone runs Samsung’s One UI 8 software based on Android 16 and comes with a raft of AI features from Samsung or Google that you can choose to use or ignore, helping you out with web searches, photo editing and email writing, among other things.

It’s not stated how long this £449 offer is on for, but Black Friday will go on most likely until the first week of December. This deal may not be on until then.
