Jon recently made headlines for a new role he’s taking on – in a reboot of the Fletch movies from the 1980s, the Bridesmaids star will be taking over from legendary comedic actor Chevy Chase.

In Confess, Fletch, Hamm will portray the bungling investigative reporter who debuted in the mystery novels by Gregory McDonald.

The role should be an interesting one for the star, who launched to fame as the stoic and dry Don Draper on Mad Men, but has since proved himself to be a versatile performer thanks to roles in Spy, Million Dollar Arm and Baby Driver.
