The Daredevil star left her brunette locks loose around her face while showing off her glowing skin under a hint of blusher as she exited the restaurant.

Despite Ben’s candid chat while appearing on Ellen earlier this week, Jennifer didn’t let his comments get to her as she put on an animated display for waiting cameras.

On Wednesday’s episode of the talk show, the 46-year-old actor gave a honest interview reflecting on his battle with alcoholism while admitting to the struggles he faces co-parenting his three children with Jennifer.

The duo share Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10, and Samuel, seven, together.

The Oscar-winning actor went sober in the 90s after claiming that alcohol was ‘dangerous’ for him, but has relapsed in recent years, requiring rehab stints in 2001 and 2017.

Last year, the star entered another 40-day residential treatment program in August, with Jennifer intervening following another relapse – arriving at his house with a bible and a lawyer before driving him to rehab.

Asked about last year’s struggles, Ben told Ellen DeGeneres: ‘There’s temptation to get depressed, I’ve been through a lot, “this was hard or that was hard”… I could be embarrassed.

‘I feel so good now, I’m in such a good place. The kids are healthy, life is good. So whatever it took for me to get to this place I’m grateful’.

Ben also admitted that despite being lauded for amicably co-parenting with ex-wife Jennifer, the pair still have disagreements like any other couple.

The Gone Girl star separated with Jennifer in 2015 after 10 years of marriage – with the pair finalizing  their divorce in October 2018.

As Ellen stated that the couple’s children were on allowed to watch their parent’s appearances on her family-friendly show, Ben confessed that he and his ex disagree over what their kids should be allowed to see.

He reasoned: ‘You have those things with split families, you go back and forth until you come to an agreement on the rules.

‘I’m a little bit more liberal on the screen side of things – the video games and the TV – but this is something we can both agree on.’

Ben also spoke about co-parenting earlier this month, quipping on Today: ‘I hope I’m a pretty good dad!

‘I certainly try very hard. I’m lucky they’ve got a great mom, and she helps out a great deal with making sure that we co-parent in as good a way as possible.

‘Dads are so important to kids and it’s our responsibility to be there for them, to be present, to be mindful, to be attentive, to be part of their lives … to be as in it as moms.’

Ben is currently dating Saturday Night Live producer Lindsay Shookus after reconciling their relationship this month.

Meanwhile, Jennifer has been dating businessman John Miller for the past few months, with a report from Entertainment Tonight in late January claiming they are getting ‘serious.’

Elsewhere on Ellen, Ben defended his giant back tattoo, and hit out at critics of his giant depiction of a phoenix.

He previously lied about the inking, claiming was fake and only drawn on for a role.

The actor divided fans when the full extent of the tattoo was unveiled during a trip to the beach in March 2018, but he has now insisted that he loves it, and the tattoo is real.

As Ellen DeGeneres pointed out: ‘Your back tattoo got a lot of attention’, he admitted: ‘Not so much positive! It’s a phoenix’.

With Ellen quick to quip: ‘rising from your a**’, Ben continued: ‘I was about to say it represents something really important to me!

‘It’s meaningful to me. I like it. It’s not something I sort of kept private. The sentiment ran against… but I love my tattoo, I’m happy with it.’

The tattoo was first glimpsed in the summer of 2015, and was unveiled in full in December.

However, Ben insisted the inking wasn’t real at the time, telling Extra’s Mario Lopez: ‘[It’s] fake for a movie.

‘I actually do have a number of tattoos but I try to have them in places where you don’t have to do a lot of cover up they get sort of addictive, tattoos, after awhile.’

It came about that the tattoo was in fact real when he was spotted shirtless on the beach in March 2018 whilst filming new flick, Triple Frontier.
