How long should I wait before suggesting to my boyfriend we move in together?
DEAR DEIDRE: MY boyfriend and I live a long way away from one another. I want to be with him all the time, not just phoning and texting and meeting up every few weeks, but is it too soon?
I am 26. I am not sure how long I should wait before suggesting we move in together.
At what point in a relationship is it okay to ask my boyfriend to move in with me?[/caption]
We have been together three months but before this I was in a very violent relationship. My new partner is 29 and nothing like my ex, but the memories of how things can go wrong leave me feeling very insecure.
I care deeply about my boyfriend. I feel really down when we say goodbye.
But the thought of moving to the other end of the country is daunting, just in case it all goes wrong again.
