A SEX education website has been hauled offline for giving kids dangerous advice on porn, orgies and S&M torture.
Hundreds of furious parents and relatives have signed a petition blasting the council-backed site after campaigners penned a scathing open letter.
The website was aimed at 13-25s year-olds and described taboo sex acts such as fisting, felching, c**k and ball torture and bukkake.
Bemused campaigners from The Safe Schools Alliance and Click Off accused the site of spreading “inaccurate and harmful information” and describes degrading or “dangerous sadomasochistic practices inspired by pornography”.
Respect Yourself was set up in 2012 by Warwickshire County Council (WCC) and contained information about puberty, STIs and sexual desire, along with an anonymous Q&A.
In one question, a 12-year-old girl says she has a crush on her female music teacher and can’t sleep because she is addicted to masturbating and watching porn at night.
The responder on the site replies: “What you are going through is perfectly natural for a girl your age.
“For some reason, we have the idea that only boys get turned on, masturbate or watch porn. That is nonsense.”
The websites also encouraged teens to not be embarrassed about porn and masturbation – because most people “have a fiddle now and then”.
An answer provided on the site said: “You may have seen there’s been quite a lot in the media recently about the dangers and harms that porn causes to young people.
“Many people have been quite vocal and do truly believe that porn is dangerous for young people to watch.
“However, there are no scientific studies that give evidence to suggest that watching porn is any more likely to turn you into a sex addict than watching a violent film is likely to turn you into a serial killer.
It is perfectly natural to be curious and get horny and want to watch something that turns you on
“In fact there is more evidence to suggest the opposite.
“It is perfectly natural to be curious and get horny and want to watch something that turns you on.
“That said, be aware – porn is not real life – no more than Grand Theft Auto is real life.
“Some people make that mistake – it is a fantasy so bear that in mind.”
A spokeswoman for Safe Schools Alliance (SSA) told The Metro: “It’s totally inappropriate.
“Teenagers are already under so much pressure because of what they see in porn.
“This website is normalising porn and the type of sex teenagers are unlikely to get.
“If the message they are getting from the council is dangerous sex is fine, how will they feel when they are uncomfortable?
“They will think there is something wrong with them. We are not against sex education, but we need to show how damaging porn is.
“We are coming at this from a safeguarding point of view.”
Respect Yourself was taken down by Warwickshire County Council and is currently under “review”.
But campaigners who started a petition against the website say they still want answers over how some of the content came to be published.
The Change.org petition has been signed by more than 700 supporters.
There is also a “Sextionary” section describing some sex acts as painful but failed to address the fact young women usually experience it as “risky and coercive”, according to the SSA.
The petition, which contains an open letter, says: “We are aware the website has been taken down and is currently “under review”.

“However, we note that Warwickshire County Council have made no comment which recognises the harmful nature of some of the content of this website, nor have they sought to explain to parents how this came to be published.
“We would like to encourage people to continue to sign our petition until WCC address our concerns.
“We, the undersigned, have grave concerns about Warwickshire County Council’s (WCC) endorsement of the ‘Respect Yourself’ website.”
