Friday’s UK weather forecast — Dry and mostly cloudy across the UK with sunny spells and isolated showers


BRITS are set to see a dry and cloudy day following freezing fog.

Any freezing patches will be slow to clear on Friday morning, but there will be some sunny spells later on in the day.

Today, it will be mostly dry and cloudy, with some isolated showers in the north, northwest and the southeast.

There will be some sunny spells over the weekend, with areas of frost overnight.

In the northeast, Brits will face some patchy rain.

The weather will become more unsettled by Monday.

UK outlook for Tuesday 8 Jan to Thursday 17 Jan

Brits are set to face wet weather early next week and it could turn wintry in the Northern peaks.

The weather will be generally more bright, cold and breezy with a risk of gales in the East.

Cloudier and milder situations set for West. The weather looks settled for the end of the week with light winds and the likelihood of overnight frosts.

It’s set to be wet and windy towards the end of January, with the chance of heavy rain and gales.

Hill snow is also possible, but weather will be on the mild side in the South.
