A charming Christmas event aptly named Fabulously Festive has been unveiled, promising a wealth of yuletide joy for the entire family.
The festive extravaganza is located in Ewhurst Green in Surrey and will be open to visitors until January 5.
The charming village is nestled within the Hurtwood Park Polo Country Club grounds on Horsham Lane.
It boasts an array of attractions including a bustling market, Santa’s grotto, ice skating rink, an apres ski bar, live entertainment, and cosy fire pits.
Visitors can enjoy ice skating one moment and savouring hot mulled wine or hot chocolate the next thanks to food vans scattered throughout the village, offering festive favourites such as hog roast pork rolls, halloumi fries, and freshly made churros – perfect for keeping warm during the chilly weather.
For those with a sweet tooth, there are opportunities to toast marshmallows on a fire pit and decorate gingerbread in one of the many tents spread across the site. At the heart of the village, guests will find an undercover bar adorned with fairy lights.
Inside, they can escape the cold by snuggling up on a comfy sofa with a hot drink, Surrey Live reports.
Upon entering the festive site, families will first encounter the Christmas tree shop where they can buy a tree to take home, before reaching the Elfies Photo Opportunity spot. The site also boasts a vintage fun fair complete with dodgems and rides, as well as daily live entertainment.
The village trail is covered in bark, and along this path, both children and adults will discover Mrs Christmas Story Time hut, where fairy tale books are available for reading. Other attractions include Darling Dolly’s Christmas Shop and a Christmas shop selling artisan gifts.
Additionally, there’s a reindeer food making tent and an elves post office where youngsters can send their Christmas wish lists to Santa.
Santa’s grotto is located towards the back of the village, surrounded by snowy Christmas trees. His cosy study is nestled between his lounge – where guests can gather before meeting Santa – and an elves workshop where children can choose a gift and collect memorable photos.
Open until 10pm, the village is truly enchanting at night and is sure to get you into the Christmas spirit. There are two ticket options available.
The first is a standard ticket (£12.50 per person) which grants visitors access to the Christmas Village, daily music and live entertainment in the apres ski bar, festive food concessions, Christmas market and funfair.
The second option is a Father Christmas experience ticket (£25-£39 per person) which includes all the benefits of the standard ticket plus a visit to Santa’s grotto, reindeer food kitchen, elves post office and a present from Santa. Ice rink slots last for 30 minutes and cost an additional £6.95 per person.
