The ITV2 show will see “five couples pause their relationships for the summer” – with no doubt dramatic results.

Emily’s sister Martha Atack insisted that Singletown will “fill the Love Island shaped hole” in people’s lives in a post on her Instagram Story.

The Talent Agent went on to add: “Just seen episode one of this one, it’s F***ING GREAT.”

Love Island will leave our screens on Monday night when one of the remaining couples will be crowned this year’s winners.

Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague, Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea, Ovie Soko and India Reynolds, Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard, and Anton Danyluk and Belle Hassan are the last pairs standing at the moment.

However, fans previously suggested that show bosses should give this year’s £50,000 prize fund to charity as they blasted the lack of real relationships in the ITV2 dating show this series.

Singletown will air on the same channel this September.
