‘Eco-warrior’ Meghan Markle carries son Archie Harrison onto private jet after lavish break at Elton John’s £15m palace in France with Prince Harry
MEGHAN Markle has been pictured carrying baby son Archie Harrison Mounbatten-Windsor onto a private jet.
The snaps were taken in Nice, France, 2.30pm on Saturday, just three days after the “eco-warriros” arrived on another gas-guzzling private plane.
Meghan, 38, and husband Prince Harry, 34, had been enjoying a summer holiday Sir Elton John’s palatial South of France home – which costs £15 million.
The Royal couple have come under heavy criticism and been accused of hypocrisy for using private jets three times in the space of eight days for jaunts around Europe – while claiming they’re “eco-warriors”.
After jetting into Nice Airport on Wednesday, the Duke and Duchess and baby Archie were whisked off in a Mercedes limo, with police protection, to Sir Elton’s stunning French Riviera villa, Castel Mont-Alban.
With views across the bay and to the Alps, the singer’s summer pad has been used by celebs including David and Victoria Beckham in the past.
The hilltop villa has an impressive swimming pool and is surrounded by woodland.
Originally built in the 1920s as an artists colony, Sir Elton redesigned the mansion with a team of interior designers.
Andy Warhol originals adorn the walls while the villa is so huge it can be seen from across the entire bay.
