Duck feathers are a classic filling for a pillow, offering both comfort and temperature-regulating qualities. However, some of the most luxurious options on the market tend to come with high price tags. Luckily, Debenhams currently has a money-saving discount that has seen two duck feather pillows reduced to under £30.
The Lyndon Company Softened Duck Feather Pillows, set of two, offer medium support and have been described by previous shoppers as “excellent quality”. The pillow set has been reduced from £70 to £24 at Debenhams.
The Lyndon Company Softened Duck Feather Pillows have a 233-thread-count cotton cambric down-proof pillowcase. The brand claims this fabric is great for summer and heatwave seasons, helping to provide a cool night’s sleep when needed, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Inside, there is a soft duck feather filling, which the brand says provides medium support. They come in a standard size of 48 x 74 cm and, according to the brand, will fit all standard pillow cases.
For something cheaper, Silentnight’s Bounceback Pillows come in a pack of four for £25 from Argos. They are described as being stuffed with bouncy fibres, wrapped in gentle-touch covers and are also hypoallergenic, meaning they’re suitable for all skin types and don’t contain any materials likely to trigger allergies.
Another budget-friendly choice is the Fogarty Pack of two Soft and Cosy Front Sleep Pillows, which costs £8 from Dunelm.
These pillows are also made from a 100% soft polyester cover with a hollow fibre filling. They’re also machine washable and offer excellent durability.
The pillows from Debenhams have received excellent reviews on their website, earning a five-star rating.
One customer commented: “Excellent quality pillows, impressed with packaging and quick delivery.”
Another said: “Exactly what I wanted. Comfortable for my needs. I like to squish them for my neck. Very good value.
“Lovely comfortable pillows at last!” said another customer. “I am very happy with them. They fluff up great in the morning unlike a lot of pillows I’ve tried in the past.”
Despite the pillows receiving a five-star rating, some Debenhams customers turned to Trustpilot to share their experiences with the retailer.
One customer wrote: “The ordering itself is not a problem. It was straightforward and quick. The delivery times are not the best, I think that area needs improvement.”
