Classic Mini Cooper and Jaguar E-Type going to auction for the same price

Two awesome classic cars are set to go on sale this month for roughly the same price. These cars couldn’t be more of a contrast to each other as one is a classic Mini and one is a Jaguar E-Type variant. At a H&H Classics auction which is set to take place on the 24th of July at the Pavilion Gardens in Buxton. The Mini is 1964 Morris Mini Cooper S 1275 which has been in its current ownership since 1971.

It was first registered in Northern Ireland and has 73,196 recorded miles.

It is estimated to sell for £35,000 to £45,000 when it goes under the hammer later this month.

Head of Sales at H&H, Damian Jones said that Minis are increasingly collectible and desirable among collectors.

Contrasting to this is a 1971 Jaguar E-Type V12 Coupe. The E-Type is often described as one of the best looking cars ever designed.

The estimated price for this specific 1970s example is set to be between £45,000 and £50,000.

The vehicle is estimated to have had three owners from new and has been extensively restored in 2016 and has been in its current ownership since 2003.

At the same auction, there will be a 1973 Jaguar E-Type V12 Roadster going to auction. This car is estimated to sell for £70,000 and £80,000 and is the more E-Type iconic shape.

It was first sold as a new vehicle in 1979 by Duncan Hamilton Ltd and has been family owned since 1979, having done just 3,052 miles since.
