Chris Smalling Gets Over England World Cup Snub By Travelling Through Asia With Stunning Wife Sam Cooke


CHRIS SMALLING wasn’t on the plane for England’s World Cup mission, so decided to have his own summer adventure.

The Manchester United didn’t make Gareth Southgate’s final squad for the tournament out in Russia, despite featuring 45 times for Manchester United in all competitions.

But far from sulking at home, Smalling and his wife Sam decided to go on a backpacking tour of Asia.

The couple have uploaded a new series of snaps from their travels, showing of some truly spectacular views.

It would be unlikely the England boys will be seeing similar scenic delights out in Russia over the next few weeks.

Earlier this week the Manchester United centre-half showed off his skills during a game of keepy-up on the streets of Vietnam.

Instagram After a busy day of trekking there was some nice relaxing time for the Smallings

After taking in the sights of Vietnam, the defender tried his luck at a traditional game of ‘badminton football’.

He controlled the object with his chest and then completed a number of keep-ups before he passed it back.

The former Fulham star posed for several photographs with the locals that had stopped to watch him in action.

He shared the video to his Instagram page with the caption: “Street game with the locals #hanoi #vietnam”.
