Caroline’s display comes after she leapt to defend Love Island’s Anna, 28, against professional dancer James, 41.

Dancing On Ice champ James took to Twitter following the most recent instalment of the show, which saw Anna blast Michael Griffiths after he ditched Amber Gill for Joanna Chimonides.

He typed: ‘Anna is one nasty piece of work. At least the mean girls don’t have so much power in the villa anymore. It’s called karma baby! It is what it is.’

But Caroline promptly stuck up for her, replying: ‘She’s not nasty.’

James then replied: ‘That’s how she came across babe. But I also remember the way she was also nasty to Danny… only commenting on what I see. I’m not that keen, sorry.’

To which the Enfield native said: ‘It’s an extreme statement… for her to come out and see… I like to protect my Islanders… Love you tho as always.’

Anna had swiftly defended her friend Amber, after she chose to stay loyal to Michael while the pair were split apart by Casa Amor.

But Michael, 28, decided instead to pair up with Joanna, 22, telling Amber, 21, it was because she was childish and that he felt he had to ‘bite his tongue’ around her.

Anna confronted Michael, demanding to know why he wasn’t up front with Amber before she left for Casa Amor, seemingly prompting James’ tweet.

Others also branded the London native hypocritical, after she also ditched her partner Jordan for new boy Ovie Soko.

Fans seemed to mostly agree with Anna’s claims that Michael was ‘possessed’ as they watched him attack Amber’s personality traits during their fiery row.

Michael reduced Amber to tears after he criticised her ‘childish’ behaviour, called her ‘disrespectful’ and slammed her for awkwardly laughing before saying she made him look like a d**khead’.

Shocked by his outburst, Anna said: ‘Michael is the last person I would have expected this from. This isn’t the Michael I know, this isn’t the Michael I left behind, I don’t know who this is.’

Confronting him, the pharmacist said: ‘Who are you? You lead a girl on for four weeks saying “I like her so much, my head won’t be turned.” You waited for another girl to come in to make it a thing, before we left it was fine.’

Hitting back, Michael said: ‘When I said that, yes I did mean that. These little things that are overlooked where I bit my tongue are things that are massive to me.’

She continued to speak at him: ‘You are not who I thought you were. It’s like you’re possessed.’

Before walking away, he said: ‘I’m done with this conversation, you’ve acted like a child. I actually thought better of you.’
