Harry Tokky, who makes viral content on TikTok, claims to have uncovered the best ever chip shop right in the heart of Benidorm. He’s convinced that Ray’s Chippy might just serve up the “nicest fish and chips” across the whole of Spain – a suggestion repeatedly made by his enthusiastic followers.
He went ahead and took their advice, embarking on a taste-testing adventure. From what Harry shared in his review, it seems Ray’s Chippy lived up to its reputation with flying colours, leaving him eager to share the results with his fans.
As he sat down, he looked at the menu and took in the atmosphere. It’s fair to say he got excited about the food pretty quickly.
Launching into his appraisal, Harry declared: “They’ve got the classic salt and vinegar, so that’s a good start. I’m not going to lie, the smell is amazing.”
He added: “I’ve just ordered a cheeky cod and chips really, nothing special. Oldest chippy in Benidorm. It looks great – smells good as well. And like that the food has arrived.”
With his meal presented before him, he couldn’t hide his excitement, saying: “Oh, this looks good. This is next level. Amazing. This meal is unbelievable – you’ve got to get down here. Now that was the nicest fish and chips I’ve ever had at the best possible price. Ray’s Chippy – 10/10.”
The video did more than just make people hungry, as it was also revealed it cost just €13.70 for both the food and a drink. Most people thought this was a pretty good price.
