Asylum seekers made OnlyFans sex film in migrant hotel in UK seaside town | UK | News

Two asylum seekers were allegedly caught making an OnlyFans sex video at a taxpayer-funded asylum seeker hotel. Staff allegedly walked in on the pair during a routine inspection, it has been reported. They reportedly discovered a “whole set-up”, including a camera on a tripod at the end of the bed and sex toys. It is believed that this was not just a one-off, and a couple were operating a porn operation against the law. The 18th-century Metropole Hotel in Blackpool has housed hundreds of immigrants since 2021.

It has been reported that the only punishment for the man involved is that he was moved to a different site. The building is located on the shoreline side of the town’s iconic promenade. It is only an eight-minute walk from the Tower Ballroom, where the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing films an episode featuring celebrity dancers with their partners every year.

“The man was naked with just a towel around him when he answered the door,” A former manager told The Sun.

“She was wearing sexy lingerie, lying on the bed.

“There was a video camera set up on a tripod and the room was littered with sex toys and handcuffs. He told us he was filming it to put on OnlyFans.”

A Home Office spokesman said: “These are dreadful allegations which we are urgently investigating.

“While most people comply with the rules, our contractors must maintain order and immediately report any issues.

“Cases of illegal working, including online, antisocial behaviour, or safeguarding breaches can lead to support being cut.”

The Government has pledged to end the use of asylum hotels by the next Parliament.

A man has been charged with violent disorder and criminal damage following clashes outside a hotel in Essex, which is believed to be housing asylum seekers.

Eight police officers were injured following what started as a peaceful protest outside the Bell Hotel in Epping on Thursday evening.

Keith Silk, 33, of Torrington Drive, Loughton, was arrested on Saturday, Essex Police said.

UK asylum costs are set to take up a fifth of the Government’s shrunken aid budget, leaving as little as 0.24% of gross national income for global development, a watchdog has warned.

Some £1.8billion of the projected £8.9 billion budget for overseas assistance could be spent on supporting refugees and asylum seekers in Britain in 2027-28, a report by the Independent Commission for Aid Impact (ICAI) says.
