Asteroid bombshell: NASA expose shock scale of the destruction 'God of Chaos' will cause

NASA predict the asteroid has a one in 45,000 chance of hitting the Earth on April 13th, 2029. The Earth impact of the asteroid would dwarf most other historical impacts and thermonuclear bomb tests. The impacts of the Tunguska event in Siberia in 1908 was estimated at between three to ten megatons.

The 1888 Krakatoa eruption released roughly 200 megatons in kinetic energy, whilst the largest Hydrogen bomb ever tested was the Tsar Bomba, releasing a shocking 57 megatons of kenitic energy, releaseing a fireball the size of Paris with the same temperature as that of the sun.

But, none of these historical explosive events nor the possible impact of the God of Chaos would compare to the Chicxulub Impact.

The Chicxulub Impact released and estimated 100 million megatons of kinetic energy, and humanity can thank this blast for without it we may not have existed as this was the blast that ended the hegemony of the dinosaurs.

But, this should not diminish the true destructive power of Apophis if it did collide with the Earth.

The asteroid would make an impact crater at leat four miles wide and 17,000 feet deep.

The calculations for possible impact predictions of near earth objects are analysed by the Sentry Risk Table.

The Sentry Risk asteroid monitoring system is a highly automated impact prediction system operated by the Jet Propulsion Centre for Near Earth Object Studies.

It continually monitors the most current asteroid catalog for possibilities of future impact with Earth over the next 100+ years.

Whenever a potential impact is detected it will be analysed and the results immediately published by the Near Earth Object Program.

However, several weeks of optical data are not enough to conclusively identify an impact years in the future.

By contrast, eliminating an entry on the risk page is a negative prediction; a prediction of where it will not be.

Both Joe Rogan and Elon Musk have both tweeted about the God of Chaos asteroid.

Mr Musk said: “Great name!

“Wouldn’t worry about this particular one, but a big rock will hit Earth eventually & we currently have no defence.”
