EDDIE NKETIAH is expected to lead Arsenal’s attack as Unai Emery’s men play Fiorentina in Charlotte tonight.
The young striker, 20, came off the bench to bag a late game-winner in the 2-1 victory over Bayern Munich earlier this week.
And he is now likely to start against Fiorentina at the Bank of America Stadium – a 75,523-seater in North Carolina.
Emery revealed earlier this week that fans should expect a young, exciting side to face the Serie A giants tonight.
He said: “The season has different moments, one in pre-season, where we don’t have every player with us.
“We are preparing for matches where the results aren’t the most important.
“The young players can show their capacity with us and earn confidence at a high level.
“They can then earn more minutes and a better way with us for the present and future.
“We’ll play some young players against Fiorentina, we’re looking to see them progress.”
And therefore Nketiah could partner new boy Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka up front.
Both young wingers scored in the 3-0 victory over Colorado Rapids on Tuesday.
And Saka earned a particularly high praise from Arsenal fans, who labelled him the new Lionel Messi.
Tyreece John-Jules should operate behind the front three after he showed off his pace and dribbling skills when setting Nketiah up for his goal against Bayern.
Meanwhile James Olayinka and Joe Willock – another youngster who impressed against the Germans – could run the game in the middle of the park.
Sead Kolasinac will most likely be the most experienced Gunner on the pitch, manning the wings together with Carl Jenkinson.
