If you struggle with frizzy hair, Amazon has slashed the price of a product that claims to protect against humidity. The award-winning Dream Coat Anti-Frizz Treatment by Color Wow, acts as a shield against humidity, waterproofing the hair to tackle frizz, even in extreme humidity.
Amazon’s Spring Deal Days sale has proved extremely popular, and the Color Wow product has been one of the most popular items included in the beauty sale thanks to its reduction from £27 to £20.90.
It’s a mist spray and claims to work as an invisible barrier, repelling moisture and minimising the visibility of flyaways and frizz in warm, humid conditions. The formula has heat-activated polymer technology which contracts during heat styling, without adding weight or grease.

The Color Wow Dream Coat Supernatural Spray has racked up more than 80,000 reviews, with many commenting on the difference it makes in protecting hair against heat and high humidity – which could be particularly useful for taking on holiday.
The low-maintenance treatment lasts between three and four washes and up to 72 hours, so it doesn’t have to be constantly applied.
One Amazon review said: ”Brilliant product recommend by my hairdresser. You don’t need to use much, [it’s] so economical, keeps hair smooth and shiny until next wash.” [SIC]
According to Amazon, it’s a universal treatment which is suitable for all hair types including wavy, curly, dry, colour-treated and extensions, however one shopper added: ”This stuff is amazing when you want a smooth and bouncy blowout that lasts. I feel like my hair stays clean longer as well when I use this. It definitely adds shine too. You do have to use quite a lot of it on your wet hair before blow drying and it does not work unless you do blow dry it. Also definitely more a product for straight hairstyles, I feel like it weighs down curls.”
