The actor, who runs his own craft beer and gin shop with his wife Katy Rickett, was unable to attend the weekly treatment sessions during lockdown and so used a special comb in order to continue his treatment at home.
Speaking about the device on social media he went on to explain his reasons for getting the treatment done.
“Essentially it was because I figured, my pops by the time he passed away he was going a bit thin on top, and I thought you know what, I might as well try to prevent that.
“Don’t know if I needed to or not but I thought why not, prevention is better than cure.”
Detailing his treatment, he added: “I use a lotion twice a day, take a tiny bit of a pill everyday and get laser treatment.”
