Lois Boisson reveals strange team detail after downing Mirra Andreeva at French Open | Tennis | Sport

Drink it in, Lois Boisson. The French wildcard has been on a tear at Roland Garros this fortnight, and her fairytale run will continue into the semi-final after she stunned No. 6 seed Mirra Andreeva in straight sets. Ranked down at No. 361 in the world, Boisson is making her Grand Slam debut, and she’s now through to the last four.

After taking out last year’s semi-finalist Andreeva, the 22-year-old made a surprising revelation and admitted she had “six physios” in her box to help her prepare for matches. It’s no surprise Boisson is taking drastic measures to protect her body, she was forced to skip the French Open 12 months ago when she tore her ACL a week before the tournament.
