Adding one ingredient to broccoli can turn the veggie staple into a delicious side dish “packed with flavour”. For many, cooking the vegetable may be something of an afterthought, prepared merely as an accompaniment to a roast.
But recipe website Tasty.co shared a simple way to enhance its flavour using cheese, and a couple of other ingredients you may already have at home. These include three crowns of broccoli, one ¾ cup shredded cheddar cheese (175 g), three cloves of crushed garlic, and a bit of salt and pepper (with measurements according to taste).
After preheating the oven to 190 degrees, the site recommends cooking putting the broccoli in a casserole dish, and mixing the garlic and cheese together in bowl.
You then simply pouring it evenly over the veggies, and let it bake for 25 minutes, with a total preparation time of just 35 minutes overall.
