Princess Charlotte may only be 10-years-old, but there is no doubt that she is set to play a very important role in the monarchy in the future. As the only daughter of Prince William and Princess Kate, Charlotte – like her brothers – is very popular with royal fans, with many praising the way she already follows strong royal etiquette in public.
Although she is not set to take on any official royal role for years to come, with the princess instead set to have a full education first, the princess has already been described as a “confident” child who is already meeting royal expectations. Childrenswear designer Amaia Arrieta, who has dressed Charlotte since babyhood and has met her several times over the years, described the princess in a sweet six-word statement, calling her “a caring and determined little girl”. She told People magazine: “She is sweet but also has her own opinions.”
The designer also went on to say that Charlotte’s calm exterior at royal events is exactly what her personality is like.
She told the magazine: “It’s truly her personality — it’s not forced. She looks very confident and at ease with herself and the environment she’s in.
“The maturity that comes with that responsibility — she seems to nail it every time.”
A similar view of the princess was echoed by a Palace insider who said Charlotte is a “natural” at royal events. They told People: “She’s a natural and has taken to royal events like a duck to water.”
While Charlotte may be a princess, she is also very similar to other ten-year-old girls across the globe.
At home in Windsor, the princess is believed to enjoy a number of hobbies, including tap and ballet dancing.
Charlotte is also believed to be a big fan of sports, taking part in events at Lambrook School – the school she attends with her brothers George, 11, and Louis, six.
It is believed the next royal event the princess could attend is Trooping the Colour on June 14.
