Prince William has ‘opened up’ to the world including cheeky ‘big kid behaviour’ | Royal | News

Prince William has shown a new approach to royal life since becoming first-in-line to the throne, a body language expert has claimed.

According to The Sun, expert Judi James said that since the death of his grandmother, the late Queen, and following his wife, Princess Kate’s cancer diagnosis, the future King has taken a more relaxed approach to royal life that isn’t necessarily typical of the Prince of Wales.

This includes giving royal fans a behind-the-scenes look at his life and showing some “big kid” behaviours previously covered up and more typical of his estranged brother, Prince Harry.

The body language expert told Fabulous: “William’s royal status upgrade to direct heir to the throne and Kate and his father’s recent illnesses seem to have prompted a profound epiphany in terms of his public body language and even his styling statements.

“After years of cautious emotional masking, he now looks keen to reveal his authentic personality with some open displays of love, passion and even some ‘big kid’ behaviours.”

At royal engagements, the prince has also let loose too, making jokes about playing games with his children and smashing windows by accident.

The body language insight comes after Princess Kate was recently praised for her more modern approach to social media, which has shown a side of Royal Family life that was previously limited.

This year, the princess has shared a number of photographs of her family at non-royal events, including a picture of her youngest children Prince Louis, 6, and Princess Charlotte, 9, watching the football at their Windsor Cottage.

She has also made informal statements about matters not often addressed by the Royal Family on official social media channels.

Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond exclusively told OK!: “This is such an effective and modern way of using her influence and staying in touch, even when she is not making personal appearances.”
