Simba has launched yet another free giveaway for shoppers that is worth considering. I can say that with some confidence because I’m currently sleeping on an entirely Simba set-up, and my sleep quality has significantly improved.
Not just in terms of comfort, but I’m also no longer boiling hot or freezing cold at night and waking up with fewer aches and pains. Yes, my new Simba mattress has made my bed more appealing, but Simba’s Hybrid duvet and pillows have also upgraded the entire sleep experience.
Right now, as part of their latest offer, you can try their bedding range completely free when you buy a new mattress. So, if you’ve been thinking about updating your bed, now is a good chance to do so for a cut of the cost. Shoppers can get up to £824 worth of free products when they buy select mattresses. The deal includes duvets, pillows, mattress protectors, and Simba’s new slippers range.
The number of freebies you can get depends on which size and model of mattress you buy. However, you’ll need to order soon if you want to make the most of this deal, as the sale ends this week on March 31, 2025.
Simba mattresses and bedding are also available on Amazon, though you’ll only qualify for the free products when ordering directly from the Simba website. Below, we’ve rounded up everything you need to know about the free items available.
I’ve been sleeping on Simba’s Hybrid Ultra mattress for over a year, and while it is a costly investment (our kingsize mattress retails for £2,999 full price), it will last us for years to come. Comprised of 13 layers and 8,500 springs, it’s a hefty mattress with medium firmness.
I find it provides a lot of support at night (significantly more than our old IKEA mattress) and evenly distributes weight. Perhaps the main sticking point for me, aside from the price, is how heavy the mattress is. It’s not so bad once it’s on the bed, but getting it there is a two-man job at the very least. And good luck if you’re planning on moving house with it!
Then there is the Simba Hybrid pillow (which I gave a 4.5-star rating when I reviewed it) and duvet. I didn’t realise the right pillow and duvet could make such a difference to your sleep, but they can. The Hybrid pillow is somewhere between a down-filled cushion and a memory foam pillow but is made from synthetic down (made from recycled plastic) and adjustable foam cubes (which you can add or remove depending on how firm you want your pillow to be.
The difference it has made to my neck and shoulder pain is worth shouting about. Adjusting the firmness and rearranging the foam cubes inside has been a game changer and, in my opinion, makes this an excellent choice for those prone to shoulder and neck pain in the mornings.
Both the duvet and pillow also feature a temperature control layer. This is basically a temperature-regulated piece of fabric, and you can actually feel the difference between the two sides of the pillow. However, it’s the duvet where this technology makes a difference. My partner runs like a furnace at night, and he’s said that when we ensure the cool side of the duvet is facing downwards, he has noticed a significant improvement in how he sleeps. In the evenings, when we accidentally had the duvet flipped the other way around, we noticed a difference.
With select mattresses, you’ll also get a voucher for a pair of Simba’s new slippers, which can massage your feet as you walk. I tried out a grey pair of the Stormur Slippers, having been drawn to them because they look a lot like a pair of my favourite Birkenstock clogs. Aesthetically, I love them. They’re an elevated take on lounge shoes, and I’ve even worn them out of the house on a quick trip to the shops.
Simba claims the insole, made from cushioned leather and gel-filled pockets said to target the nine pressure zones of the foot, can massage the feet while you work. They say the design was inspired by reflexology practises and can even improve circulation. While the slippers are undeniably comfy, I’m not entirely sure my feet feel like they’ve experienced a massage when wearing them.
The slippers typically retail for £69, so if you’re already in the market for a new mattress, the current offer is a great way to try them out.
