Prince William is said to have one heartwarming hope for Prince George despite the fact they share the same future prospects, it has been reported.

The 42-year old is a devoted father to George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and six-year-old Prince Louis and is committed to providing them with a relatively “normal” childhood despite their high-profile family.

The Prince and Princess of Wales often work tirelessly to ensure that their children are as down-to-earth as possible.

Unlike his younger siblings, George will one day face the reality of being king – much like William in the future.

Speaking back in 2016, William said of his children: “As far as we are concerned within our family unit, we are a normal family.

“I love my children in the same way any father does and I hope George loves me the same way any son does his father. We are very normal in that sense.”

As well as allowing them to have as normal of a childhood as possible, William also hopes to follow in his late mother’s footsteps with teaching George, Charlotte and Louis about their privilege.

As reported by the Mirror, William is keen to teach them that not everyone is as fortunate and some “need a little bit of a helping hand”.

Discussing his late mother, William previously said: “My mother introduced me to the cause of homelessness from quite a young age, and I’m really glad she did.”

Opening up about his plans to continue the late Princess Diana’s legacy, he added, “I think when I can balance it with their schooling, they will definitely be exposed to it.

On the school run, we talk about what we see. When we were in London, driving backwards and forwards, we regularly used to see people sitting outside supermarkets and we’d talk about it.”
