A Met Police spokesperson said: “At approximately 4pm on Monday, November 4, police received a report of a sexual assault at an alleyway into King George’s Park. The victim, aged 20s, had been sexually assaulted by a male she met earlier. She is being supported by specialist officers.
“A crime scene remains in place. A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape. Enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call police via 101 quoting CAD7123/4NOV.”
