Liverpool boss Arne Slot will serve a two-match touchline ban following his red card in Wednesday night’s dramatic Merseyside derby.

The Dutch coach confronted Michael Oliver after the full-time whistle, with Slot sent off for “using offensive, insulting, or abusive language.”

In a statement explaining the decision, the Premier League said: “Liverpool head coach Arne Slot was dismissed at the end of the Merseyside derby for using offensive, insulting, or abusive language. He is handed a two-match touchline ban as a result.”
